Basta Pasta Incorporated is opening its new pasta factory in Brooklyn on June 15. Soon all America will be able to savor the fresh buttery noodles and other pasta varieties from Basta Pasta.
Twenty years ago, Sal and Doris DeCiccio opened a family-style Italian restaurant in Bayside, Queens. They served the same delicious pasta that they had served to their family. It was so tasty that soon people were coming from all over the New York and New Jersey area to sample the authentic Italian taste. The DeCiccios thought "Why not make the pasta available to everyone, not just the customers at our restaurant?"
And so Basta Pasta Incorporated was born. Local residents can still get authentic Italian spaghetti, tortellini, and stuffed shells at the restaurant in Bayside. And now shoppers across the country will be able to get the pastas at their supermarkets, too!
